26/Oct/2007 at 02:03 (Extra)

I’m sure, this is the best experience I have even lived, and I’ll remember that for all my life.

I’m going to miss stay here too much, my family first of all, and the people, the school, the city… All are so beautiful… Maybe, I can come back again in the future.

Thanks for all…

Pat’s interview

25/Oct/2007 at 03:49 (Interview)

Me: Hi Pat! What can you tell me about the exchange?

Pat: So good! I thought will be worse, but I’m so happy to host you here, and all your friends to come with you to Milford.

Me: What differences do you find between Spain and EEUU?

Pat: Maybe food, and times to eat, to go home, to go bed… Some people believe that this is so difficult. I don’t think so. You are so nice, and I think you are right here. And well, yopu talked about the houses, and the place. I went to Spain lot of time ago and I think is a little different. I like both.

Me: What do you think about the food?

Pat: Here, we eat so fast. All are fast. And you have healthier food in Spain. But I’m happy because you have teasted peanut beatter and pancakes in my house, and you haven’t got this in Spain!

Me: Thank’s Pat. Good night, see you tomorrow!

Pat: Good night, honey!

Our last day in Boston…

25/Oct/2007 at 03:32 (Diary)

Well, today is our last day in Boston, and tomorrow our last day in Milford…

We are so sad, because we are too closed with our family, and the people have been so good with us all the time… We are going to miss them, of course! But in february, some students are going to Valladolid! That’s good!!

Today, we went to Boston to visit the historic places, and we did the Freedom Trip. Then, we went to the Governement, too, and at last, to eat and shopping. Everybody have a Boston sweeter! =)

Maybe tomorrow will be a hard day…

See you tomorrow!

I never see Tv in Boston, only films at home.

I watched several television shows such as Hannah Montana, the news, Nickelodion, and Drake and Josh.  I did not have much time to sit down and watch TV.

Films!

24/Oct/2007 at 03:53 (Television)

meangirls1.jpg

Well, I haven’t seen lot of TV here, but I watched many films in English.

The Notebook, with Raquel, one day that she stayed with me in my home for the night. Of course, the film was in English!

The first day I came here, Katie and me saw Mean Girls, famous american film.

And one day that Raquel, Carlos, Alfredo and me stayed in the school, we could watch a comedy, in Spanish class (but in English)!

Other day, in my home too, with Katie and Raquel, before to have dinner, we watched other film about dance (I don’t remember the title).

And today, in catholic classes in the afternoon, Raquel, Laura and me (with Katie, of course) saw A Beautiful Mind, so famous too…

It’s so dificult to understand this films, but we can put subtitles in Spanish, sometimes! =)

Statue of Liberty!

24/Oct/2007 at 03:36 (New York)

estatua dde la libertad

One of the most impressives thing that I have ever seen.

I read that the seven rays on her crown symbolize the seven seas and continents, and the table held by the statue in her left hand reads July 4th 1778.

Perhaps, I’ll never come back here…

Estatua de la libertad!

Only a word… UNBELIEVABLE!!

I felt in love of this city! All are perfect, the buildings… all are hugh, the screens in the streets, Central Park, Time Square… Time Square, I think, is the best place of New York, first of all, at night! The shops, the lights, all! We bougth all we can, and then, the hotel was perfect.

When we arrived to New York, a men was explaining us all interesting thing about New York, for 3 hours: Dacota Building, Central Park, Empire State, Brown’s zero, etc…

At 6:30, we could see Mary Poppins’ musical! We didn’t understand nothing, only a little, but the dances, the clothes, the scenes… all were perfect! We liked it!

In Time Square, we had the best fun time! Shopping, and looking at all!

The last day, on Monday, we made a trip to the Liberty statue! I never think that in my life I can see this statue, but this Monday I did, and I’ll never forget it, sure.

Without doubt, the best experience of my life!
